The new PSC PowerStar Mini II power distribution system provides a convenient way of distributing clean, quiet, reliable 12Vdc power to all your ENG audio equipment from a single rechargeable battery. The PSC PowerStar Mini II features five outputs. Each of these outputs is designed to deliver up to 3 amps of continuous current. The PowerStar Mini II has a global (total) current limit of 7 amps. The top panel features the main power switch, a Multi-Color LED battery meter and a USB power output that will supply up to 2 Amps of current. The power switch always controls four of the five output power connectors. The 5th connector is always turned on whenever a battery is connected to the power input TB4M connector. This 5th connector is conveniently marked with a blue ring surrounding the connector.

The PowerStar Mini II features PSC’s exclusive Silent Power Technology designed to filter out unwanted switch mode noise and RF interference from your power lines. This exclusive PSC filtering will ensure you of clean, quiet recordings in the field by minimizing unwanted inter- modulation noise, RF interference and other noise sources. In addition, each of the PSC PowerStar Mini II’s five output connectors are individually Polyfuse protected. Power input is via a 4-pin mini XLR connector. The PowerStar Mini II includes a Multi-Color LED battery meter and a USB power output connector that can supply up to 2 Amps of current. An optional NP-1 battery cup and an assortment of PSC power cables are available. The PowerStar Mini features reverse polarity protection, genuine Switchcraft tm connectors, a sturdy aircraft aluminum case, tough powder coat finish and a removable stainless steel belt clip.
